Your Business Needs to Provide a Compelling Reason


If you want your business to prosper and grow, provide a compelling reason why your product or service is needed.

When you don’t provide a compelling reason for people to do business with you, you don’t provide any value, and when you don’t provide any value, your product or service is just seen as another “blah, blah, blah” solution.

You need to “motivate” people to make decisions to either buy your product or service, or to want to reach out to you to learn more about it. When you provide a compelling reason, you create a competitive advantage for yourself over your competition, and when you create a competitive advantage, you position yourself for success. This is why you want to do it.

The strongest brands in the world always provide a compelling reason for you to do business with them, and you can do just the same. All you need to do is pick out one or two unique advantages that your product or service provides, and then get in front of the clients and prospects that will benefit the most from what you offer.

Give Your Prospects Exactly What they Want


Prospects want two things from you. First, they want to know how much it’s going to cost them, and second, they want to know how fast they’re going to make their money back on their investment.

You can beat around the bush, but it’s always going to come back to these two selling points, so you minus well just give your prospects exactly what they want up front and stop all the games. This is why it’s so important to be able to build value very quickly in what you’re selling. If what you’re selling is too confusing to easily explain, you’re most likely not going to do to well selling it.

Give prospects exactly what they want straight out of the gate, and then take the time to explain to them how everything works.

Make Sure Your Presentation Has a Hook


Don’t just present your information to a prospect or client and leave them hanging to figure out for themselves what they need to do next. Instead, make sure your presentation has a hook.

Presentations that have a hook, get results. A hook doesn’t have to be a cheesy (low quality) sales pitch, all it has to do is provide clear and precise directions for what you want the client or prospect to do next. Not only that, but you want to include a solid beneficial reason on what the client or prospect is going to receive by doing the hook.

When your presentation doesn’t have a hook, the presentation ends, and the client or prospect sits their and says, “that was nice,” but what do I do know. You don’t want that to happen, because you know what happens when people don’t know what to do next, they do nothing.

Keep it simple and include a hook in your next presentation, and watch how your results improve.

Meld Your Words and Actions Together


Saying one thing, but doing the other, or doing one thing, but saying another, is not going to get you very far. If you want to have the maximum impact on every person and situation, meld your words and actions together.

If you don’t mean what you’re saying, or you don’t plan on following through on what you’re saying, don’t say it, and if you’re physically doing one thing, but saying another, stop that as well. These actions are flat out holding you back.

Your purpose is what makes you unique to the world. Make sure you clearly define your purpose so that people know exactly what to expect from you.

When you don’t clearly define your purpose, people will make their own decision on what your purpose is, and it may not be what you want it to be.

Let Your Actions Speak for You


Speaking words that your physical actions don’t back up, is not a good way to position yourself.

This is a fast way for people to lose faith in you, and it will damage relationships that you have.

When you let your actions speak for you, and you sync your words along with your actions, it puts you in a strong position for people to believe in you, not only for what you say, but what you do as well.

Say one thing, but do another, and you’ll be headed in the wrong direction. Say one thing, and back it up with the matching physical action, and you’ll be headed in the right direction.

Make Sure Your Motives are Right Before You Take Action


Making immediate and irrational decisions is not going to help you out. What is going to help you out is making sure your motives are right before you take action.

When you take the time to make sure your motives are right, you put yourself in a position to create a positive outcome, regardless of the situation or circumstance.
